After careful consideration and consultation, the UofL Trager Institute and Kentucky Association for Gerontology have decided to postpone the 2020 Optimal Aging Conference due to the concern of COVID-19 virus spread.

The Optimal Aging Conference brings together individuals dedicated to advancing a new aging paradigm. This conference attracts experts, professionals, and community members from over 20 states and a wide variety of fields. The 2020 Optimal Aging Conference will be held June 28 - 30 at the Brown Hotel in Louisville, KY.

Being a sponsor or exhibitor at this conference is an excellent opportunity to demonstrate your leadership in the aging field. We look forward to helping you best engage with the 2020 Optimal Aging Conference. 

Who Attends the Optimal Aging Conference?

Past Optimal Aging Conferences have drawn between 250 and 400 attendees from four countries and 21 states in the US. The majority of our attendees are from Kentucky and Indiana. Our attendees represent many organizations in the aging field, including healthcare service providers, insurance and finance organizations, AARP, social service providers, technology and innovation start-ups, legal service providers, universities, veteran services, and many more. 

2019 Optimal Aging Conference Attendees:
  • 20% were upper administration in their organizations (CEOs, Directors, Presidents, Owners, etc.)
  • 23% were over the age 65
  • 13% were in the medical professions (MDs, nurses, residents, etc.)
  • 11% were in academia (professors/researchers, students, etc.)
  • 20% were members of the Kentucky Association for Gerontology

Choose from several pre-selected vendor bundles for sponsors and exhibitors or create your own customizable sponsor package! Vender bundle includes exhibiting and exposure benefits as well as customizable engagement opportunities.  We have built-in new features to the 2020 Optimal Aging Conference that are designed to increase attendee interaction, such as longer breaks and two sponsor & exhibitor receptions.

We have several sponsorship opportunities for the 2020 Optimal Aging Conference. These opportunities fall into two categories:

1. Pre-Packaged Vendor Bundles
We have several levels of pre-selected vendor bundles with set exposure and engagement benefits for sponsors to choose from. These levels include two sponsor levels and two exhibitor levels.
  • Sponsor Levels: $5,000 and $2,500
  • Exhibitor Levels: $750 (For-Profit) and $350 (Non-Profit)
2. Custom Packages
Our vendor bundles are designed to make supporting the 2020 Optimal Aging Conference easy and effective. But, we get it. Sometimes you might want to mix and match exposure benefits - or even go off the menu and show your support in another way! We’d love to create a custom sponsor package just for you. Increased Attendee ENGAGEMENT

For our 2020 Optimal Aging Conference, we are offering the following enhanced engagement opportunities with conference attendees:

    • We have increased our break times to include more 30-minute coffee breaks, located in the exhibit hall, between sessions
    • Sunday evening roof-top Sponsor & Exhibitor reception
    • NEW! "Last Call for the Exhibit Hall Reception" at the close of the exhibit hall on Monday evening 
    • Exhibit Hall Door Prizes: We are also encouraging sponsors and exhibitors to contribute a prize for door prizes to be announced during exhibit hall breaks and receptions. 
TwO Special sponsor & Exhibitor Events
1. Sunday Sponsor & Exhibitor Rooftop Reception 
All exhibitors and sponsors are welcome to attend our Sponsor & Exhibitor Rooftop Reception on Sunday evening. This event is designed to recognize the conference's sponsors and exhibitors and provide a festive networking environment for attendees to learn more about the supporters of the conference. An optional networking activity is available for attendees to increase the exposure of sponsors/exhibitors.


2. Monday "Last Call for Exhibit Hall" Reception
We are hosting a light reception during the last hour of the exhibit hall on Monday, April 20th. The goal of this session is to provide sponsors, exhibitors, and attendees one final opportunity for interaction and networking. Door prizes will be announced during this session as well.
